The Cloninger Group is a real estate building and developing company started in 2003 by Lane Cloninger. We specialize in custom home building throughout the Charlotte area. We strive to make every home we build beautiful and functional. Every inch of our homes are carefully constructed to bring satisfaction to all our clients.
Lane Cloninger
Lane Cloninger is the founder and owner of The Cloninger Group. He was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and has built and renovated houses in all areas of the city. After graduating from South Mecklenburg High School, he attended NC State University where he received his Bachelors Degree in Business. After graduation, he moved back to Charlotte where he started a company called Mold Detection Services. This company specialized in microbial evaluations of homes. In 2003, he began renovating homes which quickly turned into building homes from scratch. From 2008 to 2012 the construction industry took a hit that forced many companies to go out of business. Lane continued in construction and was able to remain steady due to his energetic and detail oriented reputation. Over the last 8 years he has been averaging six to eight custom homes a year with most being sold before ever being finished. His passion for home building and motivated personality is what keeps him ahead of the game. Lane currently lives in Charlotte with his beautiful wife and two children. Go Panthers!!!
